Section 53: In criminal cases previous good character relevant

Repealed. Repealed from 1 July 2024. Use it for proceedings preserved by BSA section 170, including specified matters that were pending immediately before commencement.

53. In criminal proceedings, the fact that the person accused is of a good character, is relevant.
